2007 TARC Orientation Week

I attended all 5 days of the Orientation at TARC PG this week.I didnt bring my camera along so i cant show any pictures of it here.

Everybody is devided into groups and sitted in the College Auditorium. It started with boring speeches before seperating all freshmen into different classes. The 1st day was the most day of the 5.
Station games, sports and treasure hunt are fun but running around the college under the sun really can turn me into a black man...

Plenty of clapping and screaming to do.Freshmen are divided into 2 big groups,SOT and SBS.All the student leadings are screaming until their voice are out.I ask myself,What's the point?

5 days of orientation is like an introduction to the college in the hard way.But nevermind, there is only 1 orientation. The Dota song was also played over and over again for ore about 10 times?Maybe the Orientation week is also a Dota Introduction Week?

My group performed a cat walk show for the variety show.Felt like i was 'forced' to do it.This will be the first and the last ! Im not going to do this again...

Some think the orientation week is fun, some think its boring. I think its just okay... not bad ... quite tiring, starts from 8am to 5 something in the afternoon.

The 1st semester of 14 weeks starts on Monday ! hohoho~~~ Here we go ~!!!

Road To TARC-3

Tomorow will be my 1st orientation day which kicks-off my college life and diploma course. It also puts an end to my long holiday.

This is the place i will be for the next 2 years.Almost everything is new to a brat like me,including my own laundry.

At home,my mom does all that work for me.I also have my own room with 1 queen size bed and a single bed ! But now i have to leave that comfort zone and face a totally new environment.I will leave my sweet home sooner or later.Grow up,be independent.

At my Tanjung Bungah hostel,i will be sleeping on the floor and handle all my loundry. What worries me more is the space of the room.Hopefully me and my roommates can cope with it.

All my stuff prepared ! The cup of drink with burnt paper in it is part of the preparation. Not sure if it works or not.Hopefully it does. Its up to you to believe it.

2.30pm now ! Time to leave. I wonder be blogging as often as i do because there is no internet access in my place. So,when i have an internet connection, i will post more on my life in TAR College Penang. Wish me luck !!! hehe.

28 weeks later review

Just saw the movie for the 2nd time today. To be honest with you,the only reason i watch this movie twice is because i don't want to spoil my friends' mood because Seng Keat paid for me.2 or 3 of them was thinking that this is going to be a good movie that is worth the price.

But guess what? 5 out of 6 people regretted what they paid for.The only person who insisted on watching this movie from the start was the only person who acted like he enjoyed it.Come on guys... If you got balls i bet this movie is not going to scare you at all.

All right,back to the movie.

As you can see in the picture, this movie has got plenty of running action.I wonder how those infected 'zombies' managed to run that quick.Any way,if i were to see people running, i rather watch football or something little more like they did in the movie, rugby !

The only good part was when the US Army lost control of the virus and started to shoot civilians.Very much like Half-Life and Serious Sam if you can remember those games.

Those big snipers are cool. How nice if i get to shoot like they did in the movie.

The rest of the movie, the story line... If you have watched movies like Resident Evil and the sequel to this movie '28 days later' ,you probably already knew half the story of this movie. Its all about i bite you,you bite him,and then we bite everybody and some of us gets shot.Like vampire movies.

MY rating- 2 out of 5 or D

3 weeks and still not over

Its been 3 weeks since i initially got heavy fever due to chickenpox. It was on the 14th of April when i felt really sick and then some chickenpox spots started to appear but i just ignored them.*bad mistake* I should have went to the hospital by that time so that they can provide me some medicine that can stop the virus from spreading.

So,readers with no chickenpox immune, please Do pay attention ok? That's one option you have in case one of these things start to appear on your body,go to the hospital for further treatment and stop it from spreading to the entire body.

Or else, you might just end up like me.If you are lucky, you get 1 or 2 weeks mc.If you are not, like me,you might just have to wait longer.

Orientation is about a week away and i reeeeally don't want to give people a 1st impression that i have this chickenpox virus and everybody will look at me as a spreading virus although it is not contagious any more according to the doctor.

I have been playing football, futsal for 3 times in as many days.I'm still on a strict diet but the recovery seems to be slow and i cannot do a thing should i fail to recover in time before the 21st (Orientation day).

P/S: PLEASE !!! if you have any remedy or any idea that can speed up my recover, i say again PLEASE let me know via comments or any way you prefer. Thanks in advance.

Do i still have it?

I was told by the doctor in the morning that my chickenpox is not contagious any more and i can eat any food i like. I still have the spots all over me but i think it will be gone in about a week.

I was invited by a friend to play football tomorow. Not futsal, football. On the big football pitch at 4pm.I wasnt interested at first but when i think again...this could be the last time i play football with my dudes since everybody is going to college/university.

The problem is that i havent been play 11-a-side football on the football pitch for more than a year i think.Asking me to do it again after resting for 2 weeks is like asking me to come out of retirement.

Nowadays when i feel like kicking i will just go to the nearby sports centre and play futsal.

Getting 22 people to play football is not easy.People cannot run for 90 minites, people don't want to get sunburn... bla bla bla...

After 2 weeks without any workout i think running long distance will be a problem. Let alone dribbling.

I use to play for the school team 2 years ago.I was playing quite well back then.I have the fitness to run for 90 minites. I was very active as a football player during those days.Probably that's the best of me in football. But now its just a part of history.

Maybe by watching videos of my idol can inspire me to play like i did those days.Maybe i can still bend it.Maybe i still have it. I wish to play well tomorow. For the fun of it,nothing else.

As all footballers know there are plenty of rubbish in the beautiful game.Rough tackling, diving, play acting, headbutting, and so on. I remember kicking people in an off-the-ball incident when i was playing for the school.

I lost my temper a few times when playing football. Many world class players have been sent off in their career.Shit happens in football.

I don't know what to expect from tomorow's game.Maybe when i'm tired of running i'll just pretend that i'm dead... like Chelsea's world class conman Drogba does !

*tomorow's game plan*hehehe

Flirting or Cheating?

Flirting or Cheating? Looking at another woman? It's one thing if his tongue drops to the floor in your presence; that's just plain disrespectful (though 80 percent of men have admitted to looking at other women even with their wives or girlfriends around). But cheating? Hardly. Men think there's a huge difference between thinking and acting. "We have two sides--the committed husband/boyfriend and the 'check out the hottie' side. In men, the committed wins out, but the checker always exists," says one man who responded to the Harris poll I used when researching the book. (And ladies, don't even try to tell me you haven't had more than a couple of thoughts and conversations about whether McDreamy or McSteamy is hotter.)

Flirting or Cheating? E-mailing an ex?The e-mail exchange per se isn't a cheat (depending on exactly what's exchanged, of course). But, for many people, any contact beyond a few truly platonic and innocent "just catching up" messages is a relationship-killer-not because of the act itself, but because of the potential act that may follow. About 60 percent of guys consider dinner and drinks with an ex as cheating. Looking her up online? Only 20 percent of us would classify that as a relationship no-no.

Flirting or Cheating? Hanging out with the women at work? Here's the real relationship danger zone: About 50 percent of guys consider having dinner and drinks with an attractive co-worker as cheating. But the more troubling stat for you may be this one: One in five men says that he secretly loves his platonic (for now) coworker. Just look at Jim and Pam on The Office, and you know exactly what I'm talking about. That's not meant to scare you-more just to make sure you keep your eyes open (as if you don't already) and intentions honorable.

Flirting or Cheating? Kissing another woman? Some guys may try to wiggle out of a drunken kiss with a stranger (or coworker, in the cloakroon, at the Christmas party) as a one-time-only event. But the true test about whether a guy thinks something is cheating is whether he'd be ok with the situation reversed. Guys don't want their women exchanging lip balm (or any thing else physical) with another guy, and nearly 90 percent of guys agree that their own drunken hook-up with a stranger is indeed off-limits.

Flirting or Cheating? Going to a strip club? The good news for those of you who are anti-exotic dancer: Half of men think that visiting a strip club is cheating. The other half? Going to a strip club is like going to a sporting event-there's lots of entertainment, lots of excitement, and lots of interest in watching the most talented players in action. In the poll, many men said that they feel there's no harm in once-in-a-while visits since there's no emotional attachment and only temporary, artificial physical attraction. "Sometimes, to be blunt about it," one man responded in the poll, "it's just a bit of art appreciation, and it's nice to see another woman naked."

Are you flirting or cheating?

p/s:found this from my old friendster blog. Not sure where i got this...

Malaysia Boleh ...tak ?

I was looking through my documents at 1am morning (insomnia) and i found this interesting article i got from www.thestar.com.my about 2 weeks ago.

Why Malaysians are not satisfied? I dont know. But just a couple days later i saw this in the same website.

In case you cant see what's on the title its 'Couple caught having sex crash car'.Its the most viewed news on the 21st of April 2007 !

Wow... looks like my fellow Malaysians are trying out new stuff but this not-so-lucky couple got caught. kesian... But hey,at least they tried and were probably 'satisfied'.

Are you satisfied with yours? You boleh tak? hehe
