Diploma to Degree

Past, Present and Future.

FUTURE
Now that I'm about to start my life as a university student, I think its about time to give myself a preview of what is to come in the next 2 1/2 years or so.

Kampar isn't a big town but it has the biggest private university campus in the country(I think). The distance from my rented house to the campus is not something I will like very much despite having the privilege of having my bike there.

I also heard that most people will have meet fewer new friends there compared to the KTAR days because you don't really have a permanent classmate. As for friends I hope I can socialize better at UTAR. I kinda messed it up at KTAR so hopefully I can make up for it.

As for the Kampar town it is nowhere near as entertaining as Penang obviously. The nearest cinema (from what I've heard) is at Ipoh which is approximately 40 minutes away. But on the upside, Kampar has got some beautiful scenery. Hopefully I can make good use of my camera with that.

So from what I can see, its more of a case of 'make do with what you have' rather than 'enjoy all you can'. Maybe I can study better than way.

PAST
Looking back at my KTAR days, it makes me feel a bit sad. Because I think I've wasted too much time there in front of the computer. Yes, it was good fun playing Half-Life with my year 1 housemates but I also missed out of many other things which could have been great !

Penang island is a place I really like a lot. I enjoyed the food, the lifestyle and even the hill road in Tg.Bungah and Batu Feringghi!which feels like Genting Highlands(everytime after rain.)

The island has got everything. The quite and comfortable houses at Tg.Bungah, a beach to relax at Batu Feringghi,
great food at a variety of places and somewhere you can get drunk and embarrass yourself at UPR.

Kampar will never have these combination. Not even KL can have it.

I had the chance to stay in the island, didn't fully utilize my time there which is regrettable.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRESENT
Now, having to give up my life at PG for Kampar I really, really want to make full use of my time as a uni student. I haven't achieved much in my studies, hopefully this time I can stay focus and get some good results.
