Bon Odori Ipoh 2010

The moment I found out about this event I knew I had to be there.
Think about it. A chance to take nice photos, some traditional Japanese food, dance performance on stage, the pretty ladies of Ipoh and it is held in Ipoh for the 1st time in 6 years !
I went there with high expectations of it being at least as good as the Penang one if not better and the moment I began walking out from the car park . . .

It all started to go wrong !

People already heading back after just an hour. They were talking to each other quite loudly, looking disappointed saying things like 'there is nothing to eat !' or 'nothing to play wan' in Cantonese.

The moment I reached the place my first impression was 'oh.Okay. Its not as big as the PG one'. The stage for example, its not even a quarter of the one in PG !

the guy who is on stage for a singing performance looked like he is giving a speech.

The prize for winning the lucky draw is just a balloon of a coconut tree with and monkey on it and a creature that can predict results of World Cup matches.a balloon version.

And, you know what is the worst of all ???

The everyday-available food which doesn't serve the purpose of the event.
SATAY ! its something you can buy every week at the Pasar Malam.

Yes, there are plenty to look at if you only concerned about the beautiful girls but sadly, they all have to go back from this Bon Odori looking less happy.
