300 review

Wednesday is the 1 out of 7 days in a week when i get a chance to watch movies in cinemas. So,for this week i went to Queen's Bay Mall's GSC to watch a movie titled-300.I didnt choose to watch this movie.I prefer to watch Pursuit of Happyness by Will Smith but my friens bought the movie tickets for me before i get to make a suggestion so i thought why not just give it a go since it was said to be a very nice movie.Maybe because this movie is rated 18PL
The banner on Megamall Prai shows only King Leonidas and not the queen. That's why this movie is not my first choice movie i guess.

The story is about the ancient Battle of Thermopylae.300 Spartans lead by King Leonidas fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive creepy army. Most people thought that the 300 Spartans can beat Xerxes' million army but they didnt manage to do that actually.

The movie isnt all about 300 hunks wearing underwear runing around killing people. It has some very 'sexy scences' too.If you were to watch this movie, make sure you pay extra attention at the Ephor's Temple scence.

Im sure all the guys in the cinema didnt miss it when the oracle shows up.But that's not all. There are a little bit more in Xerxes' castle which looks more like a titi bar.For most of the time in this movie, you can see people's head got chopped off, blood spilling everywhere and some other violent scences.

This movie is not my favourite action/adventure war movie but there are lots of fascinating visual effects and ancient army war formations.
Not as good as the ancient Rome's army though.

King Leonidas was eventually killed by thounsands of arrows, flying through the sky like rain. There is one question that remains in my mind after the movie.King Leonidas was lying dead and his body was pierced by so many arrows but how come none of it pierce right in-between his legs and into his dead nuts remains a mistery.Spartans make good shields, weapons ,army and probably good quality underwear.

My rating for 300. C+ worth watching on Wednesdays (RM6)
