This stall sells both wan TAN mee and wan TANG mee. What's with the extra 'G'? tang means soup in mandrin. So wan tang mee means one ton soup?
Next is from a hockkien mee stall
again,same item different spelling. Hock kean and hockkien mee.
And then there is this
I thought its supposed to be something like Char Koey Kak and not Char Koey Kek? sounds like Char Koey CAKE ! fried cake !
And here comes my favourite.Nothing wrong with the spelling this one.
roti BABI ??? what a way to name their food. No wonder I don't see any melay people around.

er...melay? typo... there's another famous roti babi at Pulau Tikus..i forgot the coffeeshop's name..got a stall that sells One Ton Mee which is pretty good. Me and Ivan used to go there often. Good ol' days before his pussy brainwashed his 'porn king' identity..haiz..
PS: roti babi is actuali nice. try it. but not too much of it. it will turn out to be 'hek'. Jelak.
