The Fall in 2009 and The Climb in 2010

With 2009 behind us I believe many have made their new year's resolution for 2010. I have made a whopping 10 resolutions and I have to say none was really accomplished. And that somewhat sums up what a disappointing year 2009 was.
Life will always have its highs and lows and 2009 was the low point for several reasons.

  • Failure to graduate twice have really affected me in a few ways.
  • My second stint at K.Y. Digital was rather disappointing.
  • Part time job at PC Fairs was okay but I'm not happy with the rest of it.
  • Fitness plan failed miserably and now I cant even wear last year's CNY jeans.
  • Home is no longer the same place with my daddy possibly suffering from a menopause.
  • Liverpool FC had a great season, finished second but are now way behind the leaders at 7th place this season.
  • the world economy downturn.

Positive notes of 2009? There has to be some at least.

  • My work has been more consistent now and will most probably buy a DSLR this year.
  • Had lots of futsal games. I just hope it doesn't wear my joints out.
  • Had a simple yet pleasant birthday celebration. That reminds me that I still have my family and friends.
Honestly I cant figure out more for now. Yes, there are good moments but most of it was just BAD. A good year gone BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD !

Bye bye to a disappointing 2009
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I have fell in 2009, the only thing left to do next is to climb back up and that is what I intend to do.

I don't need to make pointless resolutions just to make up the numbers. Must be realistic.

And here are the list of goals I promise I will put in serious effort to achieve.

  1. GRADUATE. seriously.

  2. Buy a DSLR. Photography journey begins this year !!!

  3. Fitness. Belly Off ! Muscles on ! Burst of power and stamina.
  4. Holiday destination: Langkawi and Genting

  5. Create a reading habit.

That is half the number of resolution compared to last year. Let's see what are the new challenges 2010 will throw at me. Whatever it is, I'm ready to face it with a smile on my face. Pretty much like Schumacher !
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
as for the Favorite Photo of the year. The wave photo has won it by a small margin of 7 points. Calculated by mine own version of F1 style pointing system. I shall get it framed.

That is all for now. Wishing everybody a Happy New Year 2010 and have a fruitful year. take care !
