Puncture On The Bridge

Last month, I had a puncture on the Penang Bridge. Precisely, it was during Christmas Day. Just after the middle span, TWO nails pierced into my bike's rear tire. Fortunately, I was able to notice the lost of air pressure early and pull over safely.I tried calling the bridge hot-line for help but I couldn't really hear what the guy on the phone was saying. So I waited, for almost an hour.I was on there, hopelessly waiting. And then help -a crook who put the nails there, came to my rescue. He wanted to charge me RM23 bucks for his GOOD quality tires. I gave myself two options:

1. 1.Give him some money ;and if he refuses and demands for more


2. 2.Punch him in the face VERY HARD, teach him a lesson and leave. SERIOUSLY

I got very emotional. Angry at the fact that I'm on a bike, not a car. Raged at the fact some of my friends are lucky enough to have their own car and I'm not. I blamed my parents, I blamed god, I blamed everybody but myself.

And now I look back with regret that I let out my anger at my dad for an offense he didn't commit. But, my biggest regret however, was that I chose to shift my attention and focus on what has happened and not what I could have done. That was wrong, but now I know. It is another lesson of life... LEARNED !
